Is it unlimited multi pc or tied to pc hardware id? The bookmap that I have purchased last time was available for free in TG and later it changed to paid version on a monthly basis after using it for few months.

even if there is a bug identified, the reality they could release a new update that invalidate and fix the old bug, the software then would come with new features and you cant upgrade because things will stop working
