Let’s be real: this course specifically is literally options theory. But it’s a foundational course from a very good practitioner. The point is that SPX options have a considerable influence on ES futures because it’s used as a hedging instrument by options market makers.

But the knowledge is valuable if you intend to have a career trading in the long run

I trade futures only however market makers hedge their position by buying/ selling futures which have direct impact on the future market. It is good resource for market understanding and the book it self is amazing source for that knowledge.
